Upon my inspection, found main system contactor inside air handler is fried along with the Line side high voltage wire. Opened up service disconnect and heard arcing noise from high voltage wires. Could not remove service disconnect plug. Recommending replacement of contactor and service disconnect box. At the condenser found bad capacitor. Recommending to replace capacitor. System required a drain cleaning and treatment due to visible water in the safety float, which reservoir. Performed on necessary repairs and system is cooling at this time with a 20° temperature split.

Main system ductwork has many holes, not strapped up, and not properly sealed. The supply Plenum off of the unit is damaged and has lost its structural integrity. Recommended that the client replaces the ductwork in the near future.

Air Bros has been my go-to for HVAC since I bought my house in 2017, and I wouldnt trust anyone else! Ricky has kept my old unit running like a champ for years, and when my house recently flooded, Justin showed up to get it back up and runningbuying me some time before I finally replace it (after 20 years, its definitely earned its retirement!). Theyre always on time, know their stuff, and even a hit with my dogs. If you want honest, reliable, high-quality service in St. Pete, these guys are the way to go!
