Upon arrival, Justin and Ace began by performing a full tune-up on all systems prior to diagnosing the unit that was not operating. During inspection, all systems were found to be mechanically sound with only minor issues present. We replaced the contactor for the master bedroom unit and the capacitor for the Goodman system located in the attic serving the front upstairs area. After these repairs, all systems showed a healthy temperature split and were operating within normal ranges. There were no signs of major bacterial growth. For preventative maintenance, we recommend installing a UV system in each unit. We then proceeded to diagnose the system that was not working. Upon inspection, the blower motor in the air handler had failed. The motor was receiving proper voltage but was not operating, confirming it was burnt out. After discussing this with the homeowner and informing them that the blower motor is not under warranty, we replaced it using a motor available on the truck. Afte

Upon repair, I began by pumping down the system to recover the existing refrigerant. I then proceeded with removing the failed TXV and the filter drier located in the condenser. After removal, I installed a new TXV and filter drier, ensuring all connections were properly sealed and secured to prevent any future leaks. Once installation was complete, I pressure tested the system, pulled a vacuum, and recharged it with the proper amount of refrigerant. The system is now operating with a 20° temperature difference between the supply and return plenums, which is within the proper range. The system was functioning properly upon departure. Before and after photos will be provided via email. The TXV comes with a 3-year transferable warranty. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your business, and have a great day.

Air Bros has been my go-to for HVAC since I bought my house in 2017, and I wouldnt trust anyone else! Ricky has kept my old unit running like a champ for years, and when my house recently flooded, Justin showed up to get it back up and runningbuying me some time before I finally replace it (after 20 years, its definitely earned its retirement!). Theyre always on time, know their stuff, and even a hit with my dogs. If you want honest, reliable, high-quality service in St. Pete, these guys are the way to go!
