System not cooling due to bad capacitor. Replaced capacitor and started system. System is cooling at this time with good amp draws, and a good temperature split. Lifetime warranty on capacitor installed.

Client states system not cooling properly. They had to clean their drain line. Upon my inspection, found system cooling with a 20° temperature split. Good amp draws. Capacitor is within range. Ecobee thermostat was giving them a high humidity alert for the past 2 days. Found humidity was off set by about 9°. Made adjustment. While looking over everything. Noticed compressor turned off. Found the condensate pump was extremely clogged up and potentially causing the safety float switch to short cycle the compressor. Cleaned and treated condensate pump and restarted system. If issue persists, the compressor may be faulty. Upon my inspection, found system cooling with a 20° temperature split. Good amp draws. Capacitor is within range. Inspected duct work and found severely poor duct work design and installation. Client would like a quote to replace all duct work. Will provide a quote this weekend.

Inspected mini split for not cooling properly. Found very poor installation of mini split. Filter dryer installed in line with soft solder. Told client we are unable to make repairs due to install. Client declined full system replacement at this time.

Upon arrival, the homeowner expressed concerns regarding the ductwork after noticing condensation on the ceiling. Upon inspection, I found that the condensation is originating from the original metal ductwork in the home. The ductwork is currently suspended improperly and is experiencing condensation, which is contributing to the moisture on the ceiling. I discussed the findings with the homeowner and explained that the recommended long-term solution is to replace the existing metal ductwork with properly insulated flex ductwork to help prevent future condensation issues. I also inspected the drain line and discussed its condition with the homeowner. The drain line is aged, and the homeowner expressed interest in replacing the existing trap as well as the interior and exterior portions of the drain line. Upon my inspection, found 1 condenser 3 head mini split system purchased from Amazon is poorly installed. Two head units are not mounted properly on the walls causing water issues as well as one head is falling off the wall. Found system freezing up due to low refrigerant. System has a refrigerant leak. We will not perform repairs on an Amazon system that was very poorly installed as it is a liability and we cannot guarantee anything. We are providing a quote for a full system replacement with professional installation practices and Name brand equipment from Mitsubishi that come with warranties. Systems should not be ran at this time. Will apply $95 service fee towards new system installation
