Found burnt fuse on arrival. Found a couple shorting in the low voltage wire made repairs and replaced fuse to find that the system is still off on low voltage. During diagnostics transformer failed. Did not have part on truck we will be sending another technician out later in the day with correct components.

Replace reversing valve coil. Start and test. Pressures good. Temp split good. Rinsed condenser coil. Unit cooling at this time.

Found bad indoor blower motor. Quote sent for system replacement.

Replaced control relay. System is functioning properly at this time.

Upon my inspection, found error codes on Trane communicating inverter system. Air handler error: ALERT 1 AFC CNT FLT-EVC Condenser CDV error: Unit Bus com error Found corrosion on inverter control board at condenser unit. Noticed snake skin, mud robber nest, and the smell of something dead behind the control board cover. The corrosion was present on the CDV plug as well as further down the board. Cleaned off corrosion carefully with finger and restarted the whole system. Went through all other error codes with service manual. Cleared all codes out of history. System is cooling with good pressures and a 23° temperature split at this time. Verified all components are communicating properly at this time. If problem occurs again, possible control board replacement or system replacement given the age of the system and cost of a new board out of warranty. Model# 4TWV8024A1000BA Serial # 16083L931F

Upon my inspection, I found a clogged drain line/drain pan. Also found severely debris impacted condenser coils. Performed proper drain cleaning and condenser coil deep clean on system. Removed indoor casing on unit and cleaned as well complimentary. Cleaned air filters. System is now draining properly. Recommended evaporator coil cleaning due to smoke residue all over coils. Client would like to wait at this time. Sending quotes for evaporator coil cleaning as well as a bundle deal for the remaining condenser coils on the house.

Performed an in place evaporator coil clean. Replaced UV insulation and indoor insulation on suction lines. Charge system with 2 pounds of refrigerant. Achieved a superheat of 6 to 8°. System is cooling properly at this time. Next maintenance will check pressures to determine if there is a leak within the system. System temperature split is 20°.

Replaced oem motor and added surge pro to air handler and condenser.

no cool Upon arrival, tenant explained that on Friday after storm system stopped cooling. found thermostat set to off Set thermostat in cooling and found that blower and outdoor fan motor run but compressor does not Found dead capacitor Installed new 40+5 mfd capacitor and compressor runs as normal Took air temperature and checked refrigerant pressures. System is running and cooling at this time. Advised homeowner the air handler does have microbial growth on the interior and could use cleaning. Outdoor unit also needs maintenance. Recommend recommended maintenance membership for both systems.
