Upon my inspection, found bad condenser ECM fan motor. Replaced motor and fan blade. Fan blade had an issue coming off of the motor shaft so we replaced it. Applied 5% veteran discount. System is cooling with a 17° split at this time.

Performed Maitenence on system. Cleaned/treated drain line and primary drain pan. Cleaned condenser coils. Evaporator coils are clean. Verified safety float switch functionality. Checked amp draw on compressor. Checked amp draw on fan motor. Checked capacitor is not within factory range. Replaced capacitor. Inspected Contactar. Made sure all connections are tight. System is cooling with a 20° temperature split at this time. Found a faulty UV system. Installed new uv system. Found primary safety switch was not wired in properly. Wired it back to the system complimentary. Indoor fan motor is vibrating abnormally and is at risk of failure. Compressor amp draw on start up is over amping. Upon my inspection, found system has no high voltage power to air handler. Diagnosed bad 60amp breaker. Verified breaker size with 10kw heater kit and installed new breaker. Verified system functions.
Upon my inspection, found generator module not allowing high voltage power to condenser unit. By passed module and advised client to call their generator company for repair. Found dirty evaporator coil and a functional but dirty primary drain pan and drain line. Recommending cleanings with a Maitenence plan membership. System is cooling at this time with a 23° temperature split. Capacitor is good. Compressor is over amping at 85 amps on start up with a max rating of 75.

Home owner states unit is running but not cooling. Condenser located on rooftop. Found failed outdoor capacitor and contactor heavily pitted/rusted. Replaced both components. Verified system was cooling after repair. Waived 95$ diagnostic Discounted repair from 700$ to 600$
On arrival found unit not cooling due to evaporation coil frozen. Thawed unit. Found coil extremely impacted with dirt and debris. No filter on unit. Blower wheel extremely impacted. Condensate pump is dirty and needs proper cleaning. Outdoor thermostat wire exposed and has potential to cause short. Due to age and condition of coil we can only offer new coil for guarantee. Will submit estimates. Unit is cooling to the best of its ability at this time.
Upon my inspection, I found the thermostat was not receiving 24v. Checked entire system and found the drain line and primary rain pan was clogged and the safety switch was cutting off power to the thermostat. I also noticed that water was leaking from the primary drain pan and flooding around the unit and the floors of the house. Upon further inspection, the drain system is installed incorrectly and needs to be reconfigured properly. The main issue is the safety switch is at an upwards slope, so when water fills up in the pan, it starts to over flow before the safety switch can break power to the unit. Quote is sent for guaranteed repair on this issue. Capacitor tested good Amp draw on compressor is good Amp draw on fan motor is good Contactar is in good condition Delta temp is 19° System is cooling properly at this time. Recommendations: - install new proper safety switch - install new drain line configuration at the air handler with proper slope to prevent the unit from flooding

Arrived onsite and turned unit on. I checked pressures, temperatures and full operation. No issues found. Temp split 20. Advised client to call us if happens again and don’t reset anything. Labor
Upon arrival home owner states power surge night before and everything went out. Found secondary drain pan full. Cleared secondary pan verified system was draining and both pans clear. Upon further diagnosis found power to thermostat but not coming on. Thermostat had failed. Replaced thermostat and showed home owner how to use. Verified system was cooling. Waived 95$ diagnostic fee
On arrival found unit turned off. Client states that compressor was making loud noise yesterday for a couple minutes then shut off. Fan outside was still running. Inspected unit. Turned to cool. Pressures good. Temp split good. Float switches clean. Amp draws good. Capacitor good. Found lizard fried behind outdoor board. Possible intermittent issue causing compressor to short cycle. Found no loose connections. Unit is cooling properly at this time.

Upon arrival home owner states he smells “something sweet and chemical”, believe that coils are leaking. Went her entire system and found multiple issues. Outdoor condenser coils impacted with debris/dryer lint and capacitor reading very weak. When opening panel to indoor air handler you can audibly hear an active leak. Did not charge home owner for leak search as it was very obvious. Recommend -replace air handler coil with txv -replace outdoor condenser capacitor -clean outdoor condenser coils Will call manufacture to verify warranty and parts availability -Cleaned outdoor coils and added 1lb 410a back to factory specs for temporary cooling.
Upon my inspection, I found the condenser fan motor was not engaging. After further diagnosis, I found the motor start run capacitor was weak and no longer functional. Replaced capacitor. Amp draws on start up and running are great on both the compressor and fan motor. Owner was notified that the brakered disconnect is faulty and needs to be replaced as it does not cut full power to the condenser unit. Complimentary condenser coil cleaning included. System pressures are good. System is cooling. Discussed with Jim that the duct work going to the back room of the house can be re routed for better air flow by moving it further down away from the air handler on the supply plenum box.
Return to complete repairs. Also found capacitor reading very weak. Swapped capacitor at no charge. Verified system is cooling. Replaced filter as well.
