Reason for call: No cool Summary: On arrival found this unit failed during pm. Ase was serving units when control board failed. They then went into diagnostics where they unwired float switches and change low-voltage wire at condenser. When I started diagnosing, I went to the air handler and followed power from the transformer incoming to the board where I had 28 V and both then only 14 V were coming out of the control board. This shows that the control board has failed. We need to replace the control board to continue diagnostics on the system.

On arrival found unit not cooling due to tripped float in aux pan. Cleared pan and drain. Cleaned pump and added chemical. Replaced faulty primary float switch. Rinsed condenser coil. Pressures good. Temp split good. Electrical good. The not cooling properly at this time.

Replaced the 2 damaged breaker in the panel and move them lower in the panel *** this is a temporary repair until the panel can be replaced

Reason for call: Member tune up Summary: Completed maintenance unit is operating well unit had 20 degree split. Flushed drain line and pan. Flushed indoor and outdoor coils. Changed filter. Homeowner needs to order more filters. 20x20x1 Found dual capacitor slightly weak. Found contactor burnt and pitted Informed homeowners they decided to replace these parts so we don't have any concern of a break down before next maintenance visit. Found water source heat pump system tripped on high pressure fault. Attempted to restart system and when the compressor turned on, the breaker panel started making a bad noise and then started smoking. I immediately turned off the AC breaker to prevent further damage. Scheduling for Electrician to come out to diagnose breaker panel issue. $95 service fee collected for initial visit. Will not charge $95 again for electrician or return hvac diagnosis.

Reason for call: No cool Summary: Found fan on condenser not operating. Found dead fan capacitor. Replaced capacitor. To find fan motor is rotating backwards. This is causing large inefficiencies in the equipment. Also shows that fan motor is on borrowed time. Quoted system replacement to prevent down time on equipment. Unit is cooling at this time.

1143896 Client states system stopped working Friday morning. Upon my inspection, found two error codes. Outdoor condenser giving 11 blink code for Power control board issues with communication. Indoor living room head unit giving 3 blink code for Rotation frequency feedback signal is not emitted during the indoor fan operation. Found indoor blower wheel not in balance and likely the fan motor shaft is bent and causing the unit to vibrate violently when in high fan speed. Client did recently take apart head unit to clean the blower wheel. System is 12 years old and out of warranty. If client would like to proceed with repairs, we will need to charge our tech support fee to spend the time with tech support during normal business hours in order to accurately determine a solution. At this time the power control boards are not communicating. Client needs to speak with the owner to determine if they would like to repair or replace this system. Clients electrician bypassed air handler breaker on heating kit. I found that thermostat was set to heat and 60° which was not allowing for system to turn on in cooling mode. Started system and found condenser fan motor spinning backwards. Found fan motor was wired improperly. Also found two weak capacitors. Replaced capacitors with a turbo 200 capacitor and fixed fan motor wiring. Found system low 1 lb of refrigerant. Added 1 lb and brought the 16° temp split to a 19° temp split. Client signed up for Maitenence plan and I performed first Maitenence today. Cleaned drain line and cleaned condenser coils. System has good amp draws. System is cooling and draining at this time.

Summary: On arrival found drain line clogged. Client had mini split turned off. Flushed and clean, drain line and drain pan. Maintenance is not due quite yet. We will be back in a few months to take care of the maintenance. Operation was restored to equipment unit has 28 degree temperature difference.

Reason for call: No cool Equipment: 2017 Icp Vertical in closet Condenser out back Summary: Found unit not cooling properly. Found very high suction pressure. Compressor is failing to pump properly. This cuases lack of cooling and high suction pressure compressor will have to be replaced at this time. Informed homeowner of replacement vs. repair option. They just wanted repair option.

Cleared drain lien to restore proper operation to drainage. Informed homeowner about adjusting air flow at the vents to see if it improves air flow in back bedroom. Do duct work inspection on pm.

Upon my inspection, found system, turning off due to a clogged drain line in a tripped primary float switch. Performed drain cleaning and treatment on system. Found the media air filter has not been changed since it was installed. I let Client know this needs to be changed as soon as possible. Client signed up for maintenance plan. Temperature split is 20° and I cleaned the condenser coils. System is cooling and draining at this time.

Client states home seems to not cool down as fast as it used to. I found system cooling with a good 20° temperature split. system is 14 years old. Attic is not completely insulated properly. I let client know this system is old and not as efficient as it once was and is doing all it can to cool the home. We are experiencing very hot weather this year and with older windows and poor attic insulation, the system can only do so much. Recommended preparing for a new system in the future and getting the attic insulated properly. Client cleaned his own drain and changes his own parts such as the capacitor. System is cooling and draining at this time.

On arrival found unit leaking water due to clogged drain and failed float switch for upstairs unit. Cleared pan and drain. Added chemical to help prevent growth in pan. Replaced float switches and tested. Cleared downstairs unit drain as well. Both units running and cooling properly at this time. Recommend for client to have regular maintenance on system to prevent future issues.

Performed Maitenence on system. Cleaned/treated drain line and primary drain pan. Cleaned condenser coils. Evaporator coils are clean. Verified safety float switch functionality. Checked amp draw on compressor. Checked amp draw on fan motor. Checked capacitor is not within factory range. Inspected Contactar for weak points. Found contactar weak. Made sure all connections are tight. System is cooling with a 20° temperature split at this time. Air purifier is on and working. Replaced contactar and capacitor. Made all connections tight. System is cooling properly at this time.
