On arrival found unit not cooling due to remote set to heat. Set to cooling. Both unit are cooling properly. Will return next week to perform quarterly maintenance.

Performed a maintenance on the HVAC system. I had an 18° temperature difference, pressures look like they are in a healthy range, and electrical is functioning properly. I did drain line treatment , a condenser cleaning and an air handler inspection. I offered the homeowner a membership program with us which she wants to think about and will reach out if she would like to sign up.

Upon arrival home owner states capacitor was replaced last year. Unit is currently blowing warm air. Found capacitor not secured properly and shorted. Found hard start kit not operating. Replaced capacitor and removed hard start kit. Verified pressures and temp splits. Unit is currently operating. 5 Year Warranty Capacitor

No cool Upon arrival found system on high pressure lockout. Reset breakers and started system in cool. Found fan motor struggling to start because of weak capacitor. High pressure lockout could have also been caused by impacted condenser coil. Replaced capacitor and cleaned condensing unit from the inside out. Replaced air filter.
