Upon my inspection? Found bad capacitor and burnt wire. Replaced turbo 200x capacitor with 5 year warranty on the part. System is operating now with good amp draws on the compressor and fan motor. System is cooling with a 18° temperature split.

Drain line backing up on rooftop package unit. Cleared drain line and drain pan. Went over adding mini splits to home as well

On arrival found bad breaker due to blown transformer. Replaced breaker. Start and test. Unit cooling properly at this time.

Full tuneup on mini split

On arrival found blower motor not turning on in a timely manner when thermostat calls for cooling. Inspected unit and found blower is intermittently failing and will soon fail completely. Unit is 20 year old r22 in poor condition. Discussed with client repair and replacement options. We recommend to replace system due to age and condition. Unit has 15* temp split across coil. Unit is cooling to the best of its ability.

System freezing over due to impacted air handler coils. Coils are 10 years of age. Explained that cleaning coils on a system this age has potential danger of leaking. Recommend replacing air handler coils for guaranteed fix. Went over potential repair cost vs replacement cost.

Found upstairs unit have heavy condensation around unit due to lack of circulation and high humidity. Recommend to add dehumidifier to space to prevent sweating and further moisture issues.

Upon replacing the existing thermostat, I found that the new thermostat wire installed by the electrician contains only five conductors, which is the same number of wires currently in use. A two-stage HVAC system requires additional conductors for proper operation with the new Nest thermostat, so simply replacing the existing five-wire cable with another five-wire cable is not sufficient. The correct installation is an eight-conductor thermostat wire. Six conductors will be used for the system’s required connections, while the remaining two conductors will serve as spare wires for future service or upgrades. Upon arrival, I inspected the air handler and found that the float switch had been triggered due to a clogged condensate drain line. The auxiliary drain pan was full of water, and the primary drain line was also clogged, preventing proper drainage. I performed an advanced drain line cleaning, which included a nitrogen flush and a thorough cleaning of the condensate drain system. I cleaned the primary and secondary drain pans as well as the condensate drain line and PVC piping to ensure all blockages were removed. After completing the cleaning, I tested the system to verify proper operation. The system is now draining correctly. I measured a 19°F temperature split between the supply and return air, refrigerant pressures are within the normal operating range, and all electrical components are functioning properly. During the inspection, I found that the run capacitor is testing below its rated value. I informed the homeowner that, while the system is currently operating, the capacitor

Reason for call: new system we didn't install she went with other company and then they said it was insulation after the install and new ducts. then another company came out and said it was the txv and it was brazed to close to something. customer wants an additional opinion there will be a 95$ service fee Summary: Unit is cooling with 22 degree split. Found schedule on stat I removed schedule. See no issue with the equipment. Homeowner has had Condneser replaced since install. No insulation in attic. Confirmed proper blower speed.
